The Letcher County Camber of Commerce is now accepting applications through April 19th for two $500.00 scholarships available to high school seniors who reside in Letcher County and are college-bound or entering another post-secondary educational/training program upon graduation.
Selected candidates will be scheduled for a personal interview with the Letcher County Camber of Commerce Scholarship Committee. The winners will be notified in May 2019 and scholarships will be awarded at their school's Awards Ceremony. Applications may be picked up at the Letcher County Public Libraries in Whitesburg and Jenkins, the guidance counselor offices at Jenkins Middle High School and Letcher County Central High School and at the Whitesburg Campus of Southeast Kentucky Community and Technical College admissions office.
