Welcome Back Cavalier Families!

I realize that this school year is going to be unlike any other school year we’ve ever had.  I would like to make sure you remember, we are always functioning with the best interests of our students in mind. With that being said, please know that we want to keep an open line of communication with you, our families, and our students. If at any point you feel overwhelmed or frustrated, please contact us so that we can do our best to assist you and alleviate any and all of your concerns-together we can get through this! We must remain flexible during this time and if everyone is willing to do their part, we will be successful during this transition into distant learning.

Our staff has trained and worked diligently over the summer so that they will be ready to proficiently deliver instruction to our students virtually. It makes me proud to say that almost every single teacher in our building is Google Level 1 Certified, which means they have the ability to use Google technology and this knowledge will assist them in their instructional delivery. Our goal is to provide our students with quality instruction while learning distantly and maintain the same standards and level of instruction as if we were in a traditional setting.

We have to create our own normalcy in circumstances such as these; please have your child up and awake to get them back to a “school routine” so that they will feel like interacting with our teachers. Our teachers will be online and available for you and/or your child for assistance and to offer a better understanding of materials and additional guided practice and instruction. Hopefully we will all be back together soon and we will get back to our “real” normal! Until then, we will continue to make the most of our situation by providing distance learning/instruction, school lunch delivery, and visiting online in Google Meets. Please feel free to contact us and make sure to follow us on our social media outlets.
