Jenkins Independent School will be moving to virtual instruction for the next ten days, beginning Monday, September 27th through Friday, October 8th. We will have a drive through on Monday at the middle high campus beginning at noon to allow K-2 students to pick up their Chromebooks. Anyone else without a Chromebook at home can pick theirs up at this time. Students will be expected to join a Google Meet with their teachers to receive instruction by the following schedules:
Grades K-2
Reading - 8:30 - 11:30
Math - 12:30 - 2:30
Open times will be used for one on one or small group Meets as needed.
Grades 3-5
First Rotation - 8:30 - 9:45
Second Rotation - 10:00 - 11:45
Third Rotation - 12:30 - 2:15
Open times will be used for one on one or small group Meets as needed.
Grades 6-8
1st Period - 8:30 - 9:19
2nd Period - 9:23 - 10:12
3rd Period - 10:16 - 11:05
4th Period - 11:34 - 12:23
5th Period - 12:27 - 1:16

Vocational school and UPIKE classes will still occur, with buses running from JMHS. Open house at JMHS will still occur on Monday at 4:00 pm in order to allow parents to meet with teachers and receive mid-term grades. Please remember that masks are required when indoors in our school buildings.
