State testing begins Monday, May 8. It is very important that you show up on time for school, well rested, and ready to perform your very best every day. Make sure you eat breakfast and give your best effort on the test.

At the April Jenkins Independent School Board of Education meeting, the board spotlighted two dual credit students. Seniors, Lynsey Anderson and Delaney Johnson were recognized for their exemplary work and achievement during their high school academic careers. Both Lynsey and Delaney earned two college associate degrees before even graduating high school. We are very proud of these two young women. We are also very proud of our dual credit program that allows students at Jenkins High School to earn college credit for free while they complete high school. Here Lynsey and Delaney are pictured with board member Charlotte Mullins, Principal Wendy Rutherford, and board member Sarah Brown as they were presented with certificates of achievement.
