Happy Valentine's Day from Burdine! We had a great time celebrating today!

Mrs. Tackett's class really enjoyed today's lunch! Shoutout to our awesome cafeteria staff for planning and preparing tasty food everyday!

Kessler received a positive office referral earlier this week. He has a great attitude and is always ready to help out! Thank you Kessler!

Today's positive office referral is Lydia Mullins. She is always ready, respectful, and responsible! She also did a great job leading the pledge this morning!

Cavalier News @ Burdine Feb. 12th-16th

Pee Wee Schedule Update Practices are at Burdine and there have been some changes. Mondays and Wednesdays Gray 4:30-5:30 Red 5:30-6:30 Black 6:30-7:30 Orange 7:30-8:30 Tuesdays and Thursdays Green 5:30-6:30 Yellow 6:30-7:30 Blue 7:30-8:30. There will not be any Pee Wee games Saturday, February 17th due to other sporting events going on at JMHS. Games will resume February 24th.

Reminder blanket money is due tomorrow!

Logan Potter received a positive office referral this week for being caring, ready, responsible, and respectful. Way to go Logan!

Burdine's Students of the Month for January. These students were chosen by their homeroom teachers based on their academic achievements in the classroom.

Pee Wee Basketball Schedule Reminder Practices start today!

Just a reminder @ Burdine we have afterschool ESS on Mondays and Tuesdays. There is a bus, but on Monday it will drop off students in the Burdine area and on Tuesdays students in the Neon/Dunham area.

If you signed up for Pee Wee Basketball notes will be going home tomorrow about teams and practice times. Practices will be at Burdine and games will be Saturdays @ JMHS.

Jenkins Elementary competed in District Academics today. They came in 3rd place in Quick Recall.  Two students placed in Written Assessment, advancing to regional. Ian Hall placed 3rd in Language Arts and Xaiden Sturgill placed 3rd in Social Studies.  Academic Team members are Ian Hall, Carsen Watts, Xaiden Sturgill, and June Mullins.

One of our positive office referrals this week was Aubrey Fields. She is Caring, Always ready, Very responsible, and Shows respect.
