Great News, Jenkins Family! After checking road conditions and clearing a couple of turnaround spots, we’re excited to share that school WILL be in session tomorrow in Jenkins! We will operate on a 2-hour delay to allow extra time for thawing and to ensure our students are picked up safely in the daylight. We can’t wait to welcome our students back and see those smiling faces tomorrow! It’s going to be a great day to be a Cavalier! Please help spread the word, and we’ll see you soon!

There will be no school on Monday, February 9, due to hazardous secondary road conditions. After assessing road conditions, several hollows remain unsafe for bus travel.

With warmer temperatures expected on Monday, we are hopeful conditions will improve and that we can return to school soon.

Doughnut Fundraiser Information

There will be no school in the Jenkins Independent School District on Friday, January 30th due to hazardous secondary road conditions. This will be a traditional snow day.
