
This week is Safe Schools Week! And the entire month of October is National Bullying Prevention Month. At JIS we value safety and want to keep families informed on ways they can protect their children. Join us for a Safety Workshop with Lori Downs from the Kentucky Center for School Safety Oct. 29th 4:00-6:00 in the JMHS Library. This is for all JIS families preschool to twelfth grade.


The last day for Boo Grams is Thursday, Oct. 17th. The $1 option is a sucker, $3 is candy and small Halloween toy, and the $5 option is a stuffed animal, candy, and small Halloween toy.

Today all Burdine students received a Family Survey. Please complete and return by Thursday, Oct. 10th. The class with the most returned surveys will receive Ice Cream Sundaes Thursday evening! We really value and want your feedback!

Burdine Elementary would like to thank all of our families for supporting and coming out to the Fall Festival Friday Night! We had a great time and were able to raise some funds for the school activity fund.
