This hands-on project encouraged students to model real-world systems, apply the engineering design process, and understand agricultural applications in their community. By integrating math, technology, and science, students are learning how to think critically, collaborate effectively, and explore how STEM impacts everyday life—especially in an agriculture-rich state like Kentucky!

With the help of teammates, classmates, staff, and social media, these two demonstrated amazing leadership by aiming to collect shoes for students and student-athletes in need. Thanks to their efforts and the generosity of our community, they collected an incredible 30+ pairs of shoes!
We are so proud of Kale and Benton for stepping up to ensure their peers have the gear they need to succeed both in the classroom and on the court. This is what being a Cavalier is all about!
Know an athlete or student who could use a pair? Reach out to the front office to inquire about the donations.

October Update for Burdine! Please note there is a time change on Open House. It will be from 3:30-5:30 on Oct 23rd.
Red Ribbon Week and Book Fair will be the last week of October. We will send home reminders about it next week.

Brynlee Sturgill was one of last week's Positive Office Referrals. Mrs. Collins chose Brynlee for being respectful and ready! Way to go Brynlee!

🏀 Trashketball Review Day! 🏀
Mrs. Boggs’ 4th graders had a blast reviewing for tomorrow’s test over multi-digit by one-digit multiplication! Teams worked hard solving problems, earning points, and shooting their “trashketballs” to score big. Learning + fun = success! 💪✨ #CavalierPride #MathIsFun #Trashketball

Monday’s Positive Office Referral was the Elementary Academic Team. They beat Cowan this week in their first match of the season with a score of 10-3.

Congratulations Brendan on earning another Positive Office Referral. Last week Brendan arrived to school early and chose to spend breakfast working with Mrs. Mullins, Math Academic Interventionist. Brendan is committed and determined to achieve his math and other academic goals!

Clayton Cornett also won an awesome card for being a true cav and having exceptional behavior.
