If you haven't checked out the book of the month swing by Burdine and pick one up. "What Will My Story Be" is a picture book that encourages kids to be their most creative selves and to imagine all the places that their stories can take them. It would be a great gift for graduation!

Mrs. Kelly's third grade reading class celebrated the end of the year and the end of Because of Winn Dixie by Kate Dicamillo. Just like in the book there were egg salad sandwiches and peanut butter sandwiches 😂

Checkout this Cavalier! Instead of participating in field day games and playing on inflatables Jay Johnson volunteered to travel with his mom to deliver food and supplies to tornado victims. He even had to help change a flat on their travels. This is a true depiction of CAVS---Caring attitude, Always ready, Very responsible, and Shows respect! Thank you Jay! And thanks to our staff members who cooked food or sent supplies!

End of Year Reward Trip for Accelerated Reader was a success! We had over 60 students reach the AR point goal to qualify for the trip.
