If you missed preschool and kindergarten registration last week we have two upcoming opportunities. Tomorrow at Letcher Promise Neighborhood's Easter Eggstravaganza Tuesday, March 26th @ 12:00 at the City Park or Wednesday, April 10th @ Jenkins Public Library. For more details see the attached flyers.

These two were a little nervous about coming to the office today, but they were rewarded for their hard work. Ivy worked really hard in math today! And Jimmie is always the definition of a true Cavalier! C-A-V-S! Let's go Cavs!

Fun in 4th grade math today! Students bowled to review for a line plot assessment on Monday. They collected their data by bowling and recorded it on their frequency tables. They then plotted the number of pins knocked down on their number lines.

Some staff and teachers took reading outside today ☀️📚📖

Let's do our part to help clean up our beautiful City and surrounding areas. There's still lots of trash around after the flood. We can all work together to #buildbackbetter in our communities!

Come out to Preschool and Kindergarten Registration for the 2024-2025 school year today @ Burdine until 11:00. There will be other registration events this spring and summer.

Shakes and sunshine was a huge hit with these Golden Ticket winners. Today's trip was rescheduled for March 19th due to weather.

Blankets are in and we have some extra on hand. You can purchase them in the front office at Burdine. $25 per blanket we accept cash or check. Checks need to be made out to Burdine Elementary.

Jaylyn Roberts was rewarded two positive office referrals this week from different staff members. She is hard working, always ready, and respectful! C-A-V-S let's go Cavs!
